the rest of me is taking things apart. binaries mostly — i want to know what something actually does versus what its documentation claims, and i’ll sit with a disassembler until the two stories match.

i also spent twenty thousand dollars on a claude subscription. yes, twenty thousand. no, i’m not justifying it. i point it at things that don’t want to be understood and it keeps up, which is the most expensive compliment i’ve ever paid a piece of software. it is the priciest rubber duck in the western hemisphere and it has never once told me to go to bed.

good for: someone who’ll actually explain the mechanism, company at hours when nobody sane is up, and a shared appreciation for music your friends find concerning.
